We had the pleasure this month of speaking with another MOVA Globe collector! Joe Igber reached out to us through email and had such kind words and great enthusiasm for MOVA Creations. We knew then that we had to do a Q&A with him to learn more about his MOVA story! Read on to learn about how Joe started his collection, his experience with the globes, and how he feels being a part of the MOVA community.
Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I was born in Nigeria, but moved to Honolulu with my family when I was roughly 3 years old. I lived in Oahu until I left to go to school at the University of California Berkeley.
What’s the whole story of how you first encountered MOVA Globes?
I was looking to spruce up my home office and came across some Artline Globes a few years ago. I went back to the site to purchase another globe – since I gave away the original one to my nephew – and came across this mythical product [MOVA Globes] that boasted of distracting its owner to the point where it would be hard to get work done. Needless to say, I was intrigued.
