From the launch of the online store and MOVA Minis to collaborations with Celestron, 2016 was a big year for our company. These successes, however, wouldn’t have been possible without your support and engagement. Now that 2016 is over, we’d like to take a look back at the best moments we shared with you, our MOVA family.
A Bigger Community
This year we got to hear even more from you. Every month, we get tagged in photos and videos shot by MOVA fans, enthusiasts, and newcomers on social media – this year more so than ever. The best part about these shoutouts is getting the opportunity to hear about your experiences. Be it getting a MOVA Globe from a loved one or feeling that you own the world in hands, your stories bring everyone in the MOVA family closer together and create conversation and community. Scroll through to see some great photos, videos, and stories we saw throughout 2016.
Art lovers and ocean enthusiasts – prepare to be dazzled.
Thanks to the PangeaSeed Foundation, over a dozen new sea murals popped up all over San Diego this fall. PangeaSeed is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading awareness on ocean environmental issues through art, science, and creativity. The organization gathers volunteers from cities all over the world to create the sea-inspired murals. It is all part of PangeaSeed’s ‘Sea Walls: Murals for Oceans’ project.

Did you know that we have a showroom? Although MOVA is an expanding global business in Europe and Asia, our main office is actually headquartered in sunny San Diego, California. We thought we’d give you a brief tour of our home.

What started as a unique gift turned into one of our most intriguing and different MOVA Globe designs. We wanted to let Mr. Hayes answer the most common questions we get asked about this fascinating celestial body.
